Description:
T&M Exclusive The newest arrival from the impressive Loch series. Loch Maree is the first variety to have unique double pink flowers adding to its beauty. Its thornless plants produce an excellent crop of super sweet, juicy berries. They are very tolerant to any site and soil conditions and will even produce a reasonable crop if grown in semi shade once the plants are two years old. Our one year old plants are container grown rather than field grown to provide you with stronger, superior quality plants. This variety is perfect for creating a decorative and productive feature in the garden, or in a large patio container. In a large container one plant could produce up to 10lb of fruit.
Growing Instructions
For the best results plant blackberries 1.5m (5 feet) apart with 1.8m (6 feet) between rows in an open sunny position, they can also tolerate partial shade. They will prefer well drained, moisture retentive soil that has plenty of well rotted organic matter added to it. Cropping times may be brought forward or extended if you are growing them in a greenhouse or polytunnel. Berries will quickly establish and reward you with a bumper crop. |
